Old City Hall Gallery

Premiere art gallery in Maquoketa's Old City Hall, showing works by artist couple Rose Frantzen and Chuck Morris. Frantzen is nationally acclaimed for her "Portrait of Maquoketa" series, a landmark collection of 180 portraits of local residents, which was exhibited at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery and is now owned by the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, IA. The gallery is open daily, though calling ahead is recommended for travelers.
